Voxengo just gets on with the job and delivers 10 out of 10, everytime. I'm learning how other Companies 'talk about' 'warm' and 'old' and 'analogue'. Still didn't try it yet but since they're about the same quality I'll certainly go for the cheaper. I'd pay twice or three times as much money for something that 'looked the part' but ultimately didn't sound even half as good as Voxengo.

I dont own any PSP stuff, but tried the vintage warmer sometime ago and it was pretty good. Fabfilter has outstanding guis, great support and some of the best sounding native plugs that are around (pro-c is still by far the best Compressor for me + timeless and volcano of course ). The voxengo stuff is realy nice, sounds good, avarage gui and is a bit cheaper. Would consider myself more as hobbyist but : In normal minimum phase non-oversampling mode they're all essentially the same thing anyway. but I'm investing in a new analogue eq so I'm saving them pennies

Pro-Q is the newest one of the lot and has probably taken care of a lot of it. The most interesting and unique feature of GlissEQ is the dynamic behavior of its filters. In other words, when you specify a 6 dB boost at 100 Hz you get exactly 6 dB of boost at 100 Hz.
